Network Live to Broadcast Via AOL Music LIVE! and XM Satellite Radio; National CineMedia to Simulcast Live to Movie Theatres Nationwide
New York, NY and Los Angeles, CA (8/17/2005) -- BON JOVI will be the first band ever to perform at the Nokia Theatre Times Square when they celebrate the release of their new Island Records album, HAVE A NICE DAY, during a live, multi-media launch event on September 19th at 9:00pm (ET). The BON JOVI: HAVE A NICE DAY LAUNCH will instantly reach millions of fans across the country, courtesy of the band's partnership with Network Live - a newly formed joint venture between America Online, XM Satellite Radio and AEG.
An exclusive insider segment that explores the creative process behind HAVE A NICE DAY will precede the live performance on September 19th. Network Live will beam the event to AOL.com visitors and XM Satellite Radio subscribers, while the show is simulcast live in High Definition and 5.1 audio to more than 100 Regal, United Artists, Edwards, and Georgia Theatre Company movie screens in 50 U.S. markets.

Through Network Live, Bon Jovi HAVE A NICE DAY LAUNCH event will be broadcast online exclusively on AOL Music LIVE! The event will also be available live and on demand through aolmusic.com and AOL.com. XM Satellite Radio will broadcast the concert live to more than 4.4 million subscribers from coast to coast on XM Live (XM Channel 200) and other XM music channels. Listeners can tune into the concert on XM radios for the car, home, and portable use.
National CineMediaSM entertainment services will present the entire program in 50 U.S. markets as a part of its Big Screen Concerts series. Advance tickets will be available at participating movie theatre box offices nationwide and online at BigScreenConcerts.com at a date to be announced shortly.

Nokia Theatre Times Square developed and operated by AEG Live is located at 1515 Broadway, the corner of Broadway and 44th Street in the former Loews Astor Plaza movie theatre. Currently undergoing a $21 million renovation, the completely state-of-the-industry venue will be an innovative, multi-use theatre that upon completion will accommodate a wide array of events including concerts, live television and web broadcasts, live recordings, award shows and boast a capacity that ranges from 1,500-2,100 depending on the event. The theatre's 85-foot long LED, high definition marquee is capable of displaying both live and digital video and includes interactive text messaging capabilities. Events taking place on the theatre's stage will be able to be viewed by Times Square audiences in real time.
David Rockwell, the award winning architect and designer, and the Rockwell Group are the architects and designers of the Nokia Theatre Times Square. It is a theatre that was designed to be user-friendly and give both the fans and artists an overall superior event and concert experience. The auditorium will feature two VIP mezzanines with lounge seating, a state of the art in-house lighting system, and an in-house sound system by JBL. Backstage there will be luxury dressing room suites with full bathrooms including showers, flat-screen TV's, and wireless Internet capabilities for band and crew. There will also be a Green room that will be able to seat 30 band, crew, and VIP's, a warming pantry that will tailor to the artists specific catering and cooking needs.
Included in the theatre will be the posh Nokia Lounge, which will provide a relaxing atmosphere where guests and fans will have the opportunity to charge their wireless phones, get hands-on experience with new Nokia products and services, download mobile content like games, videos and ring tones and enter promotions among other activities.
